Barriques, vats, casks, chips, staves and tannins are unique products that require specific care, unfortunately not always guaranteed by traditional LTL transport services for general-cargo.
With BESTlogistics, barriques travel in first class, on perfectly insulated vehicles equipped with a special load security device (composed entirely of wooden frames and wine-compatible materials), avoiding contact with any chemicals or industrial products. We currently guarantee our distribution service for barriques and winemaking supplies in Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia.
Our privileged relationships with wineries, combined with the constant collaboration among our various services (wine transport/winemaking materials transport), helps facilitate connections and contacts, making each operation even simpler.
We contact both sender and receiver at least two times before the actual pickup or delivery
We only use small vehicles when forwarding your goods from a terminal
Our staff is skilled and familiar with the manual transfer of loose packages. We don't use cooperatives external to our network
In order to guarantee the safety of your goods, we pick up with the same vehicle employed for the international FR-IT segment. We have reduced the number of warehouse handlings to a single terminal and collect/deliver each shipment, no matter how small, without any additional exchanges
We don't use online freight bags, but instead organize your shipments exclusively within our logistics network, working with our regular, trusted couriers
We can pick up your products with vans, small vehicles, temperature-controlled trucks or vehicles with hydraulic sideboards. Personalization is key
We take care of all necessary customs paperwork (Ex1/T2, etc.) for export to non-EU countries
